Wetland Delineation
Weecycle performs Wetland Reviews on properties by making a site visit to gather information about the topography, soils and vegetation. The data from the initial visit will help us determine if the site meets the criteria of a wetlands. If the site meets all criteria, by having all three wetland characteristics present in an area, the site will be delineated. The wetland boundaries will be determined and plotted either by GPS for large properties or by walking small plots.
The quality of the wetland will be determined by using the Department of Ecology Rating System. A buffer area for protection from the development will be established and a report written. The data will be presented to the owners, or officials as requested to help them in land development and use strategies.
