Mold  (Microbial) Investigation...

Weecycle employs a Council-Certified Microbial Consultant (CMC) who investigates microbial issues in the indoor environment and supervises Weecycle technicians in the field.

The Weecycle team will:
  • perform a visual mold inspection, mold testing and bioaerosol sampling,
  • obtain moisture readings to discover the moisture content of water damaged building materials,
  • collect TVOC (Total Volatile Organic Compounds) and TMVOC (Total Mold Volatile Organic Compounds) samples as appropriate and applicable to the individual situation,
  • interpret lab results and design an effective remediation protocol,
  • complete post-remediation sampling to verify the success of a remediation project,
  • compile a report which includes recommendations or a remediation plan for areas with mold spore counts or VOC's  in  access of recommended levels
Testing for Mold:
When Weecycle is called in for mold testing we conduct an initial visual assessment of the site/ area. If the presence of mold is indicated, bulk and/or air samples may be taken in the affected area and analyzed for the presence of microbial growth and to determine the extent of the impact. Upon analysis, a report is written and a remediation plan developed for areas with mold spore counts over the recommended levels.
